Chat Editor allows you to load a variety of pages that have different button layouts. Each set of pages, or vocabulary set, is called a Vocabulary File. Chat Editor includes a variety of Default vocabulary files. These supplied vocabulary files can be used as a starting point or just as demonstration.
- click on Library
- Click on English
- then click on vocab you wish to load
- Choose Open
Once loaded, you can make a copy of the chosen vocabulary file by making a duplicate of the Vocab File. Then go into Edit mode to personalize it.
There are 2 ways to make a duplicate for editing:
- Once you are in the default vocab file, Click on Edit Mode
- A box will appear asking if you want to make a copy, click Yes
- Rename the file as you see fit, then click save
- Chat Editor will make a duplicate of the file and open it for you
- click on Library
- Click on English
- then click on vocab you wish to load
- Choose duplicate
- Rename the file as you see fit
- Click Save
- The file will appear in the My Resources folder
- Click on that file and choose Open
