The ChatPC-Silk has some hardware buttons along the bottom front of the device and a Record Audio button on the left side of the unit. While running the ChatPC software, they can provide additional buttons for performing system functions. Setup of the Hardware Keys is done in the General Settings menu.
- Choose Edit->General Settings.
- Choose the Hardware Keys tab.
The Calendar, Messaging(Envelope) and Record Audio buttons can be set to perform any of the following actions:
- No operation
- Speak
- Clear Display
- Navigate to Home/Navigate Back
- Stop
- Volume Up/Down
- Exit Full Screen
When finished setting the Hardware Keys, choose OK.
