How do I add the Symbol Stix library to an existing DesktopChat SE installation?
Insert the DesktopChat SE Symbol Stix install CD.
You should see a Saltillo CD Installer Screen appear (this may take a few moments), if not, you will need to navigate to your CD through Windows Explorer and choose setup.exe.
Check mark the box Update DesktopChat SE and uncheck all other boxes.
Click on Install.
After it is installed, click on Finish or Exit.
Eject the CD from your computer.
Run DesktopChat SE and select the Symbol Stix library.
It will come up and say Unregistered Version. Register it with the code on the back of the DesktopChat SE Symbol Stix jewel case.
Now whenever you start DesktopChat SE, it will ask which symbol library you will want to work with(Symbol Stix or PCS Symbols).
