How do I transfer my vocabulary file from one Alt-Chat to another?

  1. Plug your USB drive into the Alt-Chat that has the file already.
  2. Tap on File->Export.
  3. Tap on the down arrow and select your file and then tap on Export.
  4. When it is finished exporting, your file will be in the Export folder on the USB drive.
  5. Make sure DesktopChat SE is closed down on your computer.
  6. Remove the drive from your Alt-Chat and plug it into your computer.
  7. Copy and Paste the file from the Export folder on the USB drive to the Import folder on the USB drive.
  8. Delete the file from the Export folder.
  9. Remove the USB drive from the computer.
  10. Plug in the AC Adapter or charger into the second Alt-Chat.
  11. Plug in the USB drive into the second Alt-Chat.
  12. The Alt-Chat will see the file and start automatically importing after 30 seconds.
  13. After it is finished importing, tap on File->Vocab File->Load Vocab File and select the file and tap on OK to load it into the window of the device.
