Why won’t DesktopChat SE accept the registration code I entered?

1. The registration code listed on the CD envelope or jewel case that the DesktopChat SE install CD came in is the code to be used. It is a 48 digit code that is divided up into 12 blocks of 4 characters each.
2. Double check that the characters you entered match what is listed on the envelope or jewel case. Capitalization does not matter.
3. It may be that you may not have administrative rights on the computer and that is why it says unregistered version after DesktopChat SE restarts after entering the correct registration code. Check with your IT person to see if that is the case.

Note: the registration code on the device will not work for DesktopChat SE and the registration code for DesktopChat SE will not work in the device.
