What can I, as a related service provider or classroom teacher, do to promote more inclusivity in a literacy classroom for students with a wide variety of language skills?
In this webinar featuring guest presenters Christy Palmquist, M.A. and Heather Prenovost, M.S. CCC-SLP, attendees explored and shared resources and research-based strategies that can bridge the gap that currently exists in the literacy curriculum available in secondary classrooms. Attendees also learned more about the connection between language and literacy and explored the continuum of skills needed for literacy acquisition. Simple adaptations that can be used in middle and high school literacy classes.
