Want to learn more about AAC assessment and how to get started? Join Saltillo & guest presenter Heather Miller Schwarz, M.S., CCC-SLP as she discusses the consideration of the strengths and needs of an individual in order to identify the features of an appropriate AAC system. Assessment models are briefly discussed and the steps of the assessment process are outlined. You will be able to identify the benefits of matching the technology to an individual’s needs rather than matching the individual to the technology.
