Jabberwocky is an app available from the Google Play Store that provides Touch-Free Accessibilility to Android systems running version 8.0 or higher.
This article is not intended to promote the app but to provide notes to those considering use with the NovaChat 8.4. The Jabberwocky app uses the device’s front-facing camera and proprietary artificial intelligence technology to track head movement and display a cursor where your nose is pointing on the screen. Open and close your mouth to perform a tap at the location of the cursor. To swipe or perform complex real-time gestures, open your mouth and drag the cursor across the screen with head movement, and then close your mouth to end the gesture.
An open NovaChat 8.4 is required. Contact Saltillo at 1-800-382-8622 for details on opening a dedicated system.
Once the Jabberwocky app is downloaded, the app will follow headmovements and either opening of mouth or a blink will access buttons within the NovaChat 8.4's vocabulary. All adjustments for access are found within the Jabberwocky app settings.
Jabberwocky is not a Saltillo product and not supported by the Saltillo Support Teams.
