Everyone tells me I need to “use the communication device with my child/student all the time.” What does that mean? Why is it important? Where do I start? Learning a communication device for the first time is challenging. Learning a new vocabulary in the communication device can be challenging too! Participants will be provided simple tools, resources and strategies which can be used to make learning to use and model on a communication device much more successful! The objective of this course is to make communication partners more successful when working with AAC by simplifying the steps involved.
