This webinar will provide advanced training on customizing vocabulary available on Saltillo’s Chat devices.  Participants will learn how to create, import and edit pages and link buttons to pages.  Transferring files back and forth to/from Chat Editor and device, and downloading/importing News-2-You and Unique pages from the Saltillo website will also be reviewed.

Devices are required for this training. Please bring a NovaChat device loaded with the latest software.

Learner Outcomes:

1. Download News-2-You pages from the Saltillo website and transfer them onto the device. 
2. Create new pages and link to them.
3. Create a new vocabulary from scratch.
4. Import pages from other vocabularies.
5. Perform file export/syncing with Chat Editor and device.

Agenda:

20 minutes - Creating and importing pages and linking to them from a button

15 minutes - Editing pages, abbreviations, creating a new gesture and creating new vocab

10 minutes - Copying pictures to the device & Transferring files to/from Chat Editor

15 minutes - Downloading News-2-You & Unique pages from the website & loading them onto the device

• You must register for and attend this course using your own AAC Learning Journey account.
• ASHA CEU and certificate eligibility require complete live attendance. Partial credit is not given.
• For those wanting ASHA CEUs or certificate for hours:

-Participate in polls/quizzes throughout the presentation, if applicable.

-Complete our PRC-Saltillo ASHA Certificate Form

-The PRC-Saltillo ASHA/Certificate Form will not be accepted after the course ends.
