This interactive course begins with a review of PRC-Saltillo’s Chat Editor, the free companion software that is available to use with both the TouchChat Application and the NovaChat Line of devices. After creating a configuration, participants will observe how to transfer and open a vocabulary file within Chat Editor software. Engaging, hands-on learning experiences will be provided that include learning how to print pages, use the button capture tool to create button sequences, and to paste these button sequences into provided templates to create quick and easy visual supports and materials.  

A laptop or desktop computer with the Chat Editor Application is required for this training.

LEARNER OUTCOMES

1. List different functions of Chat Editor.
2. Identify the process to transfer a customized vocabulary.
3. Demonstrate how to print pages.
4. Complete the steps required to use Chat Editor capture tool to create button sequences for use in supports or materials.
