PRC-Saltillo is dedicated to providing AAC communication solutions and industry-best support to those clients and their teams. This introductory course is intended to give attendees an overview of the wide range of devices, vocabularies, and support PRC-Saltillo offers. During this course, we will review the devices available from PRC-Saltillo. This discussion will also include an overview of the access methods offered by PRC-Saltillo. Attendees will learn about the most commonly used vocabularies on PRC-Saltillo systems, including Unity® and WordPower™, as well as the available languages. Finally, attendees will learn about the many support options available for PRC-Saltillo products, both in-person and online!  

Devices are not required for this training.

Learner Outcomes: 

1. List at least 3 PRC-Saltillo speech generating devices
2. Name two different core-based language options on a PRC-Saltillo device
3. Identify three online resources provided by PRC-Saltillo for AAC supports

• ASHA CEU and certificate eligibility require complete live attendance. Partial credit is not given.
