Kick off the school year with this recorded AAC teletherapy deep dive! The May webinar, TeleTips From My Side of The Screen scratched the surface of tools and strategies to use in AAC teletherapy. Now, as we prepare to begin another academic year that may at times be virtual, it is a perfect opportunity to reflect on what we learned from teletherapy, what worked, and what we can still improve upon.
We will look at examples of AAC teletherapy sessions, which will allow us to take a deeper look at strategies such as parent/caregiver coaching and modeling AAC on a digital platform. Many of the teletips shared in the May webinar can be implemented both in-person and virtually. This webinar will explore versatile tools and strategies that can be used across settings so that we are prepared to begin another uncertain school year.
