Continue to “Unravel the Mystery of AAC” in Part 3 of this series. During parts one and two of the series, you explored everyone’s right to communicate and tools to help work through the consideration process of AAC. During those sessions, you identified communication and AAC feature needs. The next step is to match needs and AAC systems. The best practice in AAC evaluation includes consideration of various language and AAC systems, followed by a trial (or trials) of a best fit or match.
