In another exciting addition to Saltillo's ever-expanding implementation resources, we have added new supports for n2y! With these new additions you'll get Back-to-School templates for WordPower™20, 42, and 60 locations, plus Smart Charts…the BRAND NEW tool for WordPower42, 42 Basic, 60, and 60 Basic vocabulary files.

"A Smart Chart is a list of the icon sequences included in the WordPower file to help you locate the target vocabulary in the n2y lesson," commented PRC-Saltillo Training & Implementation Manager Lisa Timm." Smart Charts are a great way to learn and use vocabulary already available in WordPower, so let them guide you through the target words in the lessons and continue growing language!"

Saltillo teamed up with n2y to bring weekly pages for NovaChat® and ChatFusion™ devices. The weekly newspapers from n2y improve communication through fun and educational activities for individuals of all ages and abilities. Subscribers of n2y will find that the individual can participate in all of these activities using these pre-made pages on a Saltillo communication device, as well as participate in conversations with peers and family on the latest topics.

It's time to update the 2.20 Chat Software that's all about WordPower™! • -You can now plug a dual switch into NovaChat® and ChatFusion™ devices for two-switch scanning
• -The new Switch Setup Wizard will have your switches up and running in no time
• -PCS symbols are now disabled by default in ChatEditor. If you have purchased PCS symbols on your NovaChat or ChatFusion device, simply connect that device to ChatEditor and the PCS symbols will be enabled (this is the same way that speech is enabled on ChatEditor). This maintains the copyright integrity of PCS symbols and ensures that those who use the PCS symbols have full access to them in the ChatEditor software.

SPECIAL PAGES

When you make a special page your home page, two icons will precede the page name. If the page is currently open, you will see a green check mark in front of the page. The dialog box for setting special pages has been modified to use checkboxes so multiple special page assignments can be made through a single user action. This also enables you to unassign special pages.

ChatSMS

ChatSMS, the texting feature on NovaChat® and ChatFusion™ devices, has been removed from the Google Play store. It can still be installed on an Android™ phone. Click here for instructions to download and install.
